Fall Family Photo Session at Lake Ellyn Park

My clients are a lovely family of five -- boys ages 7 and 11, and a 9 month old pup named Lucy:) We met at Lake Ellyn Park in Glen Ellyn to take advantage of the changing colors and the newly renovated outside grounds of the beloved Lake Ellyn Boat House.

Everybody needs fresh air, sunlight and natural environments -- and these elements make for a great photo session with children and pets. Lake Ellyn is a Beautiful Gem, and both children and dogs thrive in the natural environment there.

Everything about our photography session went well -- can't beat beautiful, late day sunlight on an early fall afternoon -- and this day felt like it was still summer. My client family were well coordinated in their colors and styles, and relaxed and happy just being together. Their family spirit shines from within each of them, and it shows in all of the fantastic images we captured together!

I promised to make sure I included one good one of the dog -- who is really still just a puppy. Here's the photo. Lucy was so well behaved!!
