First Birthday!

The occasion of baby's first birthday was my third visit with his family -- first, when he was in Mom's belly:

Then when he was a beautiful newborn:

And now again when he is a handsome, one-year-old bundle of fun!

So lucky to have a Christmas birthday AND a pretty tree to sit under!

Mom and Dad are clearly smitten!

Such a loving family!

Mom is super creative and has a whole Polar Express themed birthday party planned!

SO much fun to be ONE! Look who will be walking soon!

Mid-way through our photo shoot, we moved outdoors for a brief change of scene -- keeps things interesting, and gave us a chance to better include big brother, the dog.

Then we were back inside for some more beautiful baby close-up expressions taken from the back of the couch.

At this point in the photo shoot, what this little guy doesn't yet know is that he's about to get a "Cake Smash" and one of his first tastes of sugar.
